Science in medieval Islam, also known as Islamic science or Arabic science, is the science developed in the Islamic world during the Islamic Golden Age between the 7th and 15th centuries.During this time, Indian,Iranian and especially Greek knowledge was translated into Arabic.These translations became a wellspring for scientific advances,by scientists from the Islamic civilization,during the Middle Ages.
Scientists within the Islamic civilization were of diverse ethnicities and religious backgrounds.Islamic science has played a significant role in the history of science. There have been hundreds of notable Muslim scientists that have made a great contribution to civilization and society.
