一、教学目标与要求：

Guess the writer’s feeling.

1. Read the passage and circle the correct answer.

2. Find out what each statement is about.

3. Finish all the exercises.

1. forgettable 易被忘记的--unforgettable  令人难忘的（adj.形容词

2. lucky 幸运的 --unlucky 不幸的

    be lucky to do sth.  做某事是幸运的。

   luck运气（n. 名词）可以放在名词前作定语，也可以放在系动词后做表语。

    luckily幸运的是...（adv. 副词），放句首, 修饰整个句子。

3. go wrong 出错，出故障

    go在此处为连系动词，后跟形容词（一般贬义词），表示人精神或肉体由强到弱变化，或事物由强到弱由好变坏。

   好的变化多用come

4. put out: 伸出、熄灭、出版、生气

    put off：推迟、脱去

    put up：搭建、提出、抬高、提供食宿

    put on：穿上、抹擦

   put down：把...放下，写下

   put away：把某物放在合适的地方、储蓄、放弃（抽象事物）

   put through: 接通电话

   put ...in: 把...放入（强调位置） put in: 插入

   put ...into: 把 ...转化成

5. determine (v.动词)       

    determine to do ： 非延续性，不与时间段连用

    be determined to do 下定决心做某事，表示状态（不是被动），

    相当于make  up one's mind to do，可与表示时间段的短语连用。

Sentences:

Last summer vacation, I had my first and unforgettable travel experience at Hong Kong Disneyland,

No matter how well you prepare, sometimes things still go wrong.

Accidents will happen, and the first night we were unlucky enough to experience an electrical fire at the hotel.

Luckily it was put out in time, but we found it difficult to fall asleep again.

Our day in Disneyland was amazing and memorable.
