Mr. Mark Jennings

Personnel Director

ABC Express,Inc.

123 Xinghai Street

Dear Mr. Jennings:

Will you please review my qualifications for work in your training program?  [1] My thorough education and related experience have prepared me for an entry position in the Accounting Department.

The degree in Finance I will receive in June has provided me with an in-depth understanding of the field as well as an overall view of the major areas of business. As an Applied Economics major ,I studied all the functional fields (Management, MarketingFinance, Accounting and Finance Management Information System) as well as the other core business subjects (Business Communication, International Trade Practice and Commerce). I believe that I have the knowledge base that will enable me to be productive now.[2]

As I am seeking my first job, I must use my grade point record to prove my aptitude. My 4.6 overall average (on a 5.0 scale) placed me in the top 10% of the graduating class .I also worked diligently in student associations. My experience as a member of the Society for the Advancement of Management and a member of Youth Volunteer Association developed my personal skills. I would bring these skills with me to ABC Express,Inc.

[3] For the details of my qualifications and experience, please refer to the enclosed resume. May I have an interview at your convenience? Please call 8765#### or write to the above address.[4]

Sincerely yours,

Mary Li
