Section 7 Simulation of international business negotiations
Imagine you are a manager of a company in China, and as a middle-sized company, your company is in charge of manufacturing precision machine tools and specializes in scrolls for motorbikes. Your company is expanding your trade in the world market. One day, the general manager entrusts you to make negotiations with a team of three buyers from Germany. Therefore, you want to do your best to make first business transaction with the international guests.
Homework:
1. Make preparation for the negotiations and make a list of what you need to prepare for the negotiations;
2. Design a feasible negotiation plan briefly, could you please list the key points of the negotiation plan;
3. Communicate with your classmates to discuss your preparations and plans, and then think about how to improve your negotiation plan;
4. If necessary, rewrite your negotiation plan, and try to make it careful, thoughtful, and workable.
